ANNAPOLIS SOCCER CLUB – WEATHER POLICY

ASC will close fields in the event of one or more of the following:
* Anne Arundel County Dpt. of Rec. & Parks has made the decision to close fields
* Continuous rain
* Fields are drenched/have standing water from rain during the previous day(s)
* Storm warnings have been issued by the National Weather Service for the local areas

In the event of Thunder OR Lightning, play is stopped immediately and fields must be cleared. Play cannot restart/begin until 30 minutes after the last occurrence of either thunder or lightning. As ASC’s practice fields cover a wide area, please pay attention to conditions at your field at all times.

At any point, coaches are free to cancel/postpone practices on their own.

Gamedays:

COUNTY: For County league games, weather-related impacts are determined by the home club that maintains the field. ASC will make the call for games scheduled at Annapolis Middle School (fall), PAL Park (spring) and Annapolis High School. ASC will evaluate field conditions within 2-3 hours of the first game scheduled for that day.

CLINIC: ASC will evaluate field conditions within 2-3 hours of the start of the Saturday Clinic games.
